You can get as close as you dare to some of our more exotic and giant megabugs , learn all about them and then we’ll show you how to become a Bug Explorer in our Wild field and you can help us with our (literal!) field research there.

This is an outdoor event- so please dress appropriately for whatever weather our great British climate chooses to throw at us . Our field can be quite uneven and prickly ( all the better for finding great bugs) so we do recommend closed toed shoes.

Everyone is welcome and babies under 1 year old are free, but 2 years + will get the most benefit out of this activity. All children must be accompanied by a responsible, fee paying grown up ( when did we become one of those?) and it is fun for all the family.

So please get ready to get into nature and GO WILD !
